A live virtual classroom event that empowers students to protect their online privacy and security. Students will explore skills for creating safer online environments.

Using this resource

Students will: 

  • explore what privacy and personal information means  
  • understand who an online ‘stranger’ can be
  • develop strategies and skills to keep their accounts secure
  • learn where to go for help and support.

The whole class participates in a live video lesson with a trainer. The trainer talks through PowerPoint slides and students complete a worksheet during the presentation. There are optional follow-up activities.
