What is Anthem?
Anthem is an online multiplayer action role-playing video game published by Electronic Arts (EA). The game is set on a dystopian planet inhabited by monsters, mutants and destructive energies. You can control one of four ‘Freelancers’ fighting to defend the human race and stop villians from breaching the city walls. Freelancers wear one of four, customisable exo-suits called Javelins, which have different levels of strength, unique abilities and gaming style.
Anthem can be played in single or multi-player mode with teams of up to four people. The game also features on social and live streaming platforms like Twitch | https://www.esafety.gov.au/key-issues/esafety-guide/twitch and Youtube | https://www.esafety.gov.au/key-issues/esafety-guide/youtube.
Anthem is a paid game, with in-app purchase offered to players for extra loot and armour packs. Players can communicate by voice or text chat in Anthem and through third-party voice chat apps like Discord.
