Have you ever wondered how your favourite games are made?

It might seem like magic, but all it takes is a mix of super smart humans and a dash of creativity!

Every great game starts with a big idea!

For our game, we wanted to help kids like you stay super safe online! So, we dreamt up a world of adventure and... a tricky villain called Robo Raven.

That's me! I'm on the Mighty Heroes team now, but that's another story.

I started out as just a drawing. Then the designers thought, 'what if he was a bit.. robotic?'

They wanted to show you how I could learn to be a hero instead of a villain.

And you know how our Mighty Heroes are usually animated right?

Well for the game, they had to jump into the pixel world just like I did! That meant redrawing every character pixel by pixel!

Before we build anything, we sketch out every idea. What will the levels look like? What will you learn?

Sometimes, to get a super cool starting idea for our images, we use a bit of clever help from Generative AI.

It helps us to imagine new worlds, which our designers can make perfect for the game.

Then the best part? Kids like you got to play early versions of the game!

You told us what was fun, what was tricky, and how we could make it even better. Your ideas helped us make it awesome!

We worked with amazing voice actors to bring our characters to life. And the music and sound effects? They make every jump and challenge feel just right.

All these ideas, characters, sounds, they're put together with a special language called code! Clever people called 'programmers' decide how the code will create the rules of the game.

And ta-da! The final Mighty Heroes game!

So that's how good ideas can come to life, thanks to a few smart humans.

Level up your privacy

Chip wants to help you understand how the ‘Robo Raven and the Ancient Relics’ game collects and uses data when you're playing the game.

Generative AI platforms (Midjourney and Adobe Firefly) were used to create some images and gifs in the game. Human designers then reviewed and edited the final images to suit the game.
