Our structure
The eSafety Commissioner (eSafety) is an independent statutory office supported by the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA).
Except for the Commissioner, all staff employed to undertake the functions of eSafety are staff of the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA), and are covered by ACMA entitlements, protections and obligations.
Commissioner leads eSafety, which is split into 3 areas: Regulatory Operations Group, General Counsel, and Corporate and Strategy Group. Regulatory Operations Group has 3 teams: Enforcement Taskforce; Investigations; and Industry, Compliance & Enforcement. General Counsel leads Legal Services. Corporate and Strategy Group has 5 teams: Strategy, Engagement & Research; Education, Prevention & Communities; Strategic Communications; Technology, Data & Digital Enablement; and Business Operations & Governance.
