A live, and on-demand Virtual Classroom webinar designed for Year 5 and 6 students. Students will learn how to recognise stereotypes and peer pressure interactions and where to seek help and support.

  • use help seeking strategies to recognise and address friendship situations online
  • recognise how to access a trusted team and support pathways.

How students can participate

Students can participate by:

  • listening to the presenter
  • thinking about different concepts of online safety
  • recording answers to the questions on the student worksheet (optional)
  • responding to teacher-facilitated discussions
  • participating in a post-webinar class quiz (optional)
  • taking the worksheet home and sharing their learning with parents or carers.

Please note: The live webinar or the on-demand video is designed for teachers to use with their students in the classroom. Individual student registrations will not be accepted, as connections to the online platform are limited. If students are learning from home, teachers should register and share their screen with their students. Schools can register for any open session hosted by eSafety.

We are trialling a new format for our Year 5–6 virtual classrooms. The sessions will run for 20 minutes and focus on a single topic.
