Educate

Preventing an online incident is always better than having to respond to one.

One of the best ways to prevent issues from arising is to provide comprehensive online safety education. This ensures students, staff and parents/carers know how to keep themselves safe, and that they can use effective help-seeking and conflict resolution skills if something goes wrong.

The Educate resources assist schools in developing the knowledge, skills and capabilities of students, staff and parents/carers to have positive and safe online experiences.

They offer best practice guidance for online safety education and sit alongside eSafety’s suite of curriculum-aligned classroom resources.

The resources can be used on their own or collectively. Once you’ve downloaded the Educate resources, we encourage you to download the resources from Prepare, Engage and Respond.
