What is Sprunki?

Sprunki is the name given to a range of fan-made online music games inspired by Incredibox (a 2009 beatboxing music game). Sprunki lets you create your own musical tracks by combining animated characters, each with a unique sound. You can drag and drop characters onto the stage to layer sounds together and discover unique rhythms and melodies. You can also record your mix and share it online. There are many versions of Sprunki that introduce new characters and soundscapes.

The original Sprunki game was created by a user who went by the name ‘NyankoBfLol’, but that version is no longer available. Since then, many different versions and remakes have been created by others (often without credit) across platforms like Roblox and other sites. These versions vary widely in style and content.

Many Sprunki games now contain elements of horror, gore and violence, with warnings such as ‘this game contains disturbing images and scenes of explicit violence and gore.’

For younger players, ‘Sprunki But Kid Friendly’ offers simplified gameplay, and age-appropriate experiences.
