Our structure
The eSafety Commissioner (eSafety) is an independent statutory office supported by the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA).
Except for the Commissioner, all staff employed to undertake the functions of eSafety are staff of the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA), and are covered by ACMA entitlements, protections and obligations.
Commissioner leads eSafety, which is split into 3 divisions: Regulatory Operations Group; Legal Services; and Corporate & Strategy Group. Regulatory Operations Group has 2 teams: Complaints & Investigations; and Industry Regulation & Enforcement. Corporate & Strategy Group has 4 teams: Strategy, Engagement & Research; Education, Prevention & Communities; Strategic Communications; and Business Operations & Technology.
