Sarahah is a social networking app that allows you to send and receive anonymous messages.
Since February 2018, Sarahah is no longer available in app stores. If the app was downloaded prior to the removal, it will still function.
User accounts are created private by default—meaning they cannot be searched unless they share their details or opt-in to be public.
Users can choose to only receive messages from other registered Sarahah users or to not receive messages at all.
Users can also choose to stop receiving personalised advertisements.
Users can report abuse on Sarahah by selecting the flag icon and choosing the violation type i.e. impersonation, inappropriate pic, inappropriate pinned sarahah, inappropriate name, spam, and ‘other’.
Users who do not wish to receive messages from certain people can block them, without them knowing. This will also delete their message from the user’s account.
