The complaints scheme envisages a strong collaborative approach between schools and the Office of the Children’s eSafety Commissioner.
There will be times when it’s in the best interests of a student to involve their school in resolving a complaint about cyberbullying. In these cases the Office will make contact with the relevant principal, and seek their help.
The Office provides a range of resources to support schools in resolving cyberbullying. The Office may also consider offering a tailored Outreach workshop in cases where a school is experiencing systemic cyberbullying issues.
