About this resource

This live Virtual Classroom webinar is designed to support Year 5 and 6 students to learn about online communities, group chats and echo chambers. Students will also explore how to be a good digital citizen and safeguard themselves and others online.

Using this resource

Students can participate by:

  • listening to the presenter
  • thinking about different concepts of online safety
  • recording answers to the questions on the worksheet (optional)
  • responding to teacher-facilitated discussions
  • taking the worksheet home and sharing their learning with parents or carers.
