#PlayitFairOnline

eSafety and Australia’s major sporting organisations have joined forces to combat the important issue of serious online abuse in sport.

A statement signed by the eSafety Commissioner and sporting representatives pledges they will work together to address serious online abuse targeted at athletes, including racism, sexism and homophobia.

To support all Australians, from grassroots to professional athletes, staff and officials, eSafety has created a suite of resources that can be used to develop policies and practices for dealing with online abuse.

#PlayitFairOnline kicks off eSafety's campaign for Safer Internet Day on Tuesday, 8 February, 2022. You can sign up to support the initiative and share how you play it safe and fair online.
