What is LiveMe?

LiveMe is a live streaming platform which lets you broadcast live video from your mobile device and view the broadcasts of other members. You can view these live and comment in real time, or afterwards if the member has saved the video to their profile. LiveMe videos and broadcasts – yours and other members – can be captured, downloaded and shared on other social media platforms. Broadcasts and videos can be viewed on a PC without logging in.

The beam function allows members to join each other’s live videos and can be configured as multi-beam, allowing several members to join a broadcast. You can control who beams in, and multi-beam has an audio-only option. You can also join broadcasts with other users by participating in contests and games (for example a ‘head to head’ where two users are randomly matched). Participating in the platform is incentivised by the giving and receiving of virtual gifts that are purchased in-app and can be cashed out for real currency.
